We're a group of 3 people (my husband, me, and my brother), staying for 7 nights. We rather stay in one place and take the JR train and Shinkansen around Northern Kyushu. Thus, this place is a great short-stay house for us. This apartment has 2 bedrooms, a living area+kitchen, a separate toilet, and a bathroom with shower and a bathtub with a washing area ensuite. The room size is spacious and suitable very well for us. Each bedroom has a wardrobe with hangers. You don't have to pack too many clothes because there is a washing machine with a washing detergent, baskets, and hangers, which is very convenient. We can also get kitchenware from the lobby to use in the room. You have to get them from 15.00-19.30 only when the front desk is operated but you can keep the kitchenware to use throughout your stay. We bought fresh food from a local supermarket and cooked dinner on some days. The location is 1.8 km from Hakata station (central station) but is accessible by several bus lines. The nearest bus stop is Sakakida Machi (400 m from the hotel, next to the Family Mart convenience store) where you can ride bus No. 46, 46-1, or 46L to and from the central station. The one-way bus fee to the central station is 190 yen. Around the hotel, there is a residential area where you can feel a quiet neighborhood. There are also local restaurants, shops, and supermarkets nearby. Google Maps will help :) Uber Taxi is also available, download the app just in case. The taxi fare to the airport is around 1300 yen.

Staying at A.T. Hakata Hotel was exceptional. The location was good, there were bus stops, convenience store, izakayas, and fast food nearby. The unit itself is complete with the basic utilities for our 7-day stay. For a group of 6 adult in a unit with only two rooms, we did not feel lumped or cramped. Plus points that there was still privacy within the group because of the structure of the unit. Our favorite thing was the washing machine, we would wash our clothes, hang it in the bathroom, and turn on the drier. After our activities outside, we would come home to freshly smelling and warm clothes. We found it really convenient and efficient for us. We really lucked out on booking at A.T. Hakata Hotel considering that we only booked 2 days ahead of our stay.

Good value for money for 2 bedrooms Apt. ( air-con in one bedroom and a living room). We rented a car, so we had no problem coming to the hotel. We also booked a room with the parking option. The room was clean, new and spacious. We could use the hot bath to relax. Some Ton Ton Noodle, Pizza/Pasta and 7-11 within a walking distance. Travelling by car in Fukuoka was quite convenient since some interesting places such as Team Lab Forest, Daizaifu Tenmangu(with Kyushu National Museum in the area), Premium outlet need some time to reach. Parking lot was quite expensive in town. We paid a day rate to park at the building of/next to Donki - Nakasu and used the subway to visit downtown area.

If you’re visiting Fukuoka with a group of three or more, especially for a family trip, this hotel offers the best conditions. The cleanliness is impeccable—almost to the point where I felt bad using the facilities! While it’s a bit far from Hakata Station, the hotel reimbursed our taxi fare from the airport, which was a great perk. Additionally, it’s conveniently located near Takeshita Station, making it easy to reach Hakata without any hassle. I also recommend getting a 1-day bus pass from the Hakata Bus Terminal. It’s a great way to explore every corner of Fukuoka and makes returning to the hotel super convenient.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was incredibly spacious — plenty of room for four people and all of our suitcases without feeling cramped at all. One of the highlights was having access to a washing machine, which was a huge bonus during our trip (and the clothes dried super fast!). Another unexpected treat was being able to see the Shinkansen pass by — a real must for any train lovers! Despite the proximity to the tracks, the noise was minimal and didn't bother us at all. Overall, it was such a comfortable and pleasant place to stay — we truly enjoyed our time there.
